Camp 2009
Our annual camp took place at Walton Firs from 26 to 28 June. There were opportunities for cubs, scouts and explorer scouts to climb, use the archery range, and learn navigation and camping skills. On Saturday 27 June fourteen members of our Beaver group joined us for the day, and everyone joined in with planned events, which included sports, games, and tackling an assault course. At the end of the day there was a campfire and singalong to which many Beaver parents came, and everyone had a good time. The weather was excellent, although we experienced an unexpected hailstorn mid-way through Saturday afternoon.
